Data protection regulations for HomeEvent

  • Contact details (telephone number, email address, address)

  • Payment information (e.g. bank details, credit card details)

  • Event details (e.g. date, number of guests, special requirements)

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • To process and fulfill your inquiries and orders

  • To create offers, invoices and contracts

  • To communicate regarding the event and other inquiries

  • To carry out the catering and the associated services

4. Legal basis for processing

Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR: The processing is necessary to fulfill a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures that are carried out at the request of the data subject.

Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR: The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (e.g. tax retention obligations).

Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR: The processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, unless your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms prevail (e.g. to protect our business interests).

5. Transfer of data to third parties
Your personal data will generally not be transferred to third parties unless:

this is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations (e.g. transfer to service providers, suppliers),

you have expressly consented,

we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. due to tax and trade regulations),

this is necessary to enforce our legal claims.

Third parties who process personal data on our behalf (e.g. IT service providers) are contractually obliged to comply with data protection regulations.

6. Data security
We take technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or destruction. Our security measures are regularly reviewed and adapted to the state of the art.

7. Retention periods

  • to request the transfer of your data in a common format (Art. 20 GDPR),

  • to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that the processing is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),

  • to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time without this affecting the legality of the processing carried out up to that point (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR).
